So, I contacted our trustees last night to discuss the way forward, taking into consideration the latest government advice regarding Covid-19.
As of Thursday the 5th of November we have been given the green light by the Council to carry on trading and delivering/collecting. We have been deemed as an essential service. Before coming to our warehouse, please consider whether your visit is an essential one.
We have therefore taken the decision to remain open until the advice changes. We do however feel the need to put certain measures in place to mitigate the risk to our own employees and to you, the public.
With immediate effect we will no longer be entering customers houses to collect or deliver. If you require us to collect your items, these will need to be placed outside your property for us to take away. The same will also apply to delivery, we will drop the items in a location agreed by the customer but will not enter the premises.
We ask that all payments are be made by card over the phone and we will not be asking for dockets to be signed.
We will continue to try to operate to the best of our abilities and will still be posting items to our Facebook page.
We are entering an uncharted territory and we apologise sincerely for any inconvenience this may cause.
Our first priority must and always will be the well being of all employees and our loyal customers.
