KFR are always seeking items of white goods to refurbish. We have 2 engineers based on site that can repair and test units. Working machinery is always a bonus although we can repair washing machines, cookers, tumble dryers and dishwashers. We are unable to repair any form of refrigeration at this point in time so any donations of these need to be in good working order.
In 2018 we refurbished over a 1000 white goods and sold them to the low income families the charity was created to support. We have given over 200 items away for free via our provision fund which is a ring fenced pot of money set aside to help those in crisis. We work alongside multiple agencies, organisations and departments of the Wiltshire Council to provide a referral scheme to help those in need.
We can only do what we do with the kind donations from the public. so if you have items that are surplus to requirements or broken machines that need life again then please get in contact.
